Economic Development Comes to Coatesville

Recent proposals for 20,000 square foot retail/residential building by Legend Properties and a 15,000 square foot office building funded by PennDOT has brought exciting prospects to under served and sometimes forgotten Coatesville. These two economic development proposals are supported and enhanced by the 40 gigabet broadband network that runs through downtown Coatesville. With these new developments Chester County is presented with a timely opportunity to take a bold step into the future of  business and education technology. Coatesville Community Educational Foundation has created a plan that outlines a successful future for Coatesville and the region based on a community-based internet network. The purpose of this proposed network, the Keystone Connect Network of Coatesville, is to create a regional broadband network whose purpose is to increase educational opportunities and generate business growth.
